幾年前有位洛杉磯網友想在美國求學休假時去拉斯維加斯玩, 問我是否可推介一些觀光景點? 我作簡單的回復.
我目前雖然還沒有完全退休住在那裡, 但每2-3個月去我的沙漠小屋看看. 偶而也會去觀光玩一下, 可惜我既不賭又不喜歡看"秀", 有些比較精彩的聲色犬馬活動我一無所知, 只能把我去過的一些地方寫出來和大家分享.
拉斯維加斯有名的當然是"賭"和"秀", 其它再進一步的活動我就不清楚了. 我並非道德高超的聖者賢人﹐只是不喜歡把金錢丟入贏錢或然率很低的賭場, 看秀嘛, 年紀大了看了台上翻了幾十個跟斗後我就打瞌睡了, 不過來到拉斯維加斯﹐ 賭場卡西諾是必須去朝拜的, 不賭也得去看看, 否則像是到了埃及觀光﹐不看金字塔﹐你來幹嗎﹖
花個半天時間在拉斯維加斯大道南北走一趟, 記得多帶點水, 拉斯維加斯很乾熱的, 在拉斯維加斯大道上有許多旅館有免費的節目, 例如 Bellagio Hotel 前面的噴泉水舞, Treasure Island 的海盜船, 我在網上找了一些, 讀者可以在網上查詢, 我不再重複了﹕
Artwork at the Venetian Hotel
The artwork at the Venetian is reason enough to take the stroll through this mega resort. Go to the main lobby and you will be impressed with the effort they went through to put this thing together. The colors are vibrant and the high ceilings give the display a degree of credibility.
Fremont Street Experience
Get you fried twinkie and your shrimp cocktail and watch the light show high above Fremont Street. The music is loud and the light show is entertaining. All that entertainment for free.
Sirens of TI
A pirate battle on the Las Vegas Strip where the pirates have been in the gym and are ready for the swimsuit calendar in your garage. They sexed up the Pirate battle and call it by another name but it really is just a Las Vegas version of the pirates of the Caribbean..
Lion Habitat at MGM Grand
Take a picture of a lion or have your picture taken with a baby lion. Large windows look into the lion habitat and you get pretty close to these large cats.
White Tigers at the Mirage
See some white lions sleep, swim and play at the Mirage Hotel. The crowds still get large in front of the White Tiger Habitat at the Mirage hotel but if you’re patient you’ll get your chance to watch a couple lions sleep.
Shark tank at the Mirage
It’s free but it’s like watching a fish tank at your doctor’s office. If you’re into fish, you can check out the large aquarium at the Forum Shops and the one in the lobby at the Mandalay Bay as well
Circus Acts at Circus Circus
Free circus acts are still going on at Circus Circus and they are still packing them in. Watch the show, play a few games and then stroll though Adventuredome and you’ll feel 12 again. One thing, the amount of kids can scare away those who have not decided to start a family yet.
現在景 氣不好, 可以買到便宜的票看"秀", 一般台灣來的都喜歡看上空舞和雜耍戲, 老美愛看喜劇明星的脫口秀, 有些外來人無法領會, 花大把錢跟著別人笑沒啥意思, 不如看上空美女去吧. 別的地方還不見得看的到。而且這些上空美女的舞蹈﹐樂而不淫﹐自己不要想歪﹐當美色欣賞也很有意思。
賭場有個特色, 為了招攬顧客, 吃的特別便宜, 有些餐館有Internet Special 網上特價(店裡菜單沒有) 在 Ellis Island Casino, $6.99可以吃到一杯大啤酒, 頭抬沙拉, 一份牛排, 炸馬鈴薯, 蔬菜, 和一份甜點, 而且做的非常好吃. 其它中西式自助餐到處都有.
晚上開車或徒步走一趟拉斯維加斯大道, 建築物在燈光表現下風味又不同,
有空去拉斯維加斯大道北邊 ( Freemount Street) 走走, 有條商店街可逛逛買買東西﹐那個地區晚上不要離開大街往旁邊小街走﹐比較不安全﹐沒時間就以後去了。
第二天可以參加旅行團或租車去幾個峽谷看看, 包括"大峽谷"( Grand Canyon )和 布來斯峽谷Bryce Canyon, 寨恩峽谷 Zion Canyon. 這些資料網上都有, 我不再敘述了, 附上一些照片, 從拉斯維加斯開車去大峽谷要4-5小時, 其它二個峽谷在附近2小時. 晚上必須在附近 Motel 住一晚, 才能去2個峽谷名勝. 時間不夠的話﹐先去布來斯峽谷Bryce Canyon﹐ 寨恩峽谷 Zion Canyon 主要是 徒步郊游 Hiking 的地方。

三天的旅程大概只能如此了.
如果時間不多, 我建議三日遊行程如下:
第一天從洛杉磯開車3個半小時到拉斯維加斯﹐下午晚上賭城觀光 看個"秀", 順便大吃一頓.
第二天一早去大峽谷 Grand Canyon, 當晚住在附近的旅館, 住在裡面比較貴但看日出比較方便
第三天 去Bryce Canyon 布來斯峽谷, 下午回拉斯維加斯
第四天一早開車回洛杉磯
